to share with you some information about the evolution of the conscious
brain. This info can be found in the wonderful intellectually
stimulating book by Robert Solso, The Psychology of Art and the
Evolution of the Conscious Brain. I will assume that this
includes the brains of eccentric outsider artists and appreciators of
eccentric outsider art, as well. So let's put on some shoes and take
a short walk through evolutionary history.
