ECCENTRIC OUTSIDER ART SHOES Seeing is a process which starts with an electrochemical function where light is transduced by the eye into neural impluses. Secondary processing takes place in the visual cortex, one of my favorite places in the brain. Here primitive features are analyzed, such as horizontal and vertical lines, angles and curves. Part three happens throughout the brain as these signals are sent in parallel fashion to various locations that deal with color and the diversity of the where and what you are seeing. Finally, all this stimuli is combined with your own store of personal knowledge and experience. |
